Penang Regatta was concluded today.

Marathon result (10-16+ kts)

1. Leong Soon (MAS 7)
2. Chris Ting (AUS 5)
3. Meng (SIN 0)
4. Thye (SIN Cool
5. Levi (MAS 1)

Course racing were held on weekend.
Sat - no race due to lousy weather.

Sun - 10-15kts
2 races only, no discards.

1. Leong Soon (1,2)
2. Chris Ting (4,1)
3. Thye (2,3)
4. Levi (6,5)
5. Kenny (5,6)

Our young longboarders managed to finish in top 3 but was protested out due to unforseen reasons.
Next year, they will sweep all longboard classes.

Everyone had fun from the sea to the cheong nites.

Many Thanks to Penang Mafia for his loan of 'turbo' cars, Levi and Penang Swimming Club.

Already, next year is been planned.

glad that u and your group liked it.
Gary (USA 1) liked it so much that this was his 2nd trip in a row.

happy to see an OZ, Chris Ting making an apperance.
sure taught us a few things on fins and burgers.
hope to see u and OZ FW sailors making the 2009 event.

as usual, our mascot burger-man failed to even land a 'ramly' burger there but he enjoyed thoroughly before his job posting despite failing to complete the marathon (again) and a single race (yet again).  Grin

the Penang gang will attend PA race if held.

Race or no race, Penang mafia will be coming next weekend to S'pore to spar with me and pick up his 2nd favourite toy, new starboard formula 162.
